This first quarterly issue of JSEA Wissen – Biology reveals the fundamental thought models of biology and makes complex relationships understandable. Instead of an abundance of material, the focus is on building a stable understanding.
The issue gradually introduces central biological principles – from the characteristics of life to the structure of the cell and fundamental energy and metabolic processes like photosynthesis. Content is deliberately reduced, explained functionally, and embedded in meaningful contexts.
JSEA Wissen pursues a new approach:

This quarterly issue can be used completely independently and is also part of an ongoing series. Four quarterly issues per year will gradually build a comprehensive foundational work of biology.
