A Biting Beat – Even Teeth Have Rhythm
Click. Click. Ping. Blub.
And suddenly, the teeth are grooving.
"A Biting Beat" playfully demonstrates that sometimes you don't even need a classic instrument for music.
Rhythmic teeth clicking forms the unusual beat of this experimental instrumental piece. It's joined by the ping of a water glass, small bubbling and mouth sounds, finger snaps, and other everyday noises.
Little by little, this develops into a surprisingly catchy groove with playful piano, bass, understated drums, and a small dose of musical mischief.
What starts quite crazily actually becomes music.
And when almost everything falls silent at the end, all that remains is:
CLICK!
A short, humorous instrumental experiment for anyone who doesn't always take music too seriously – and wants to know how much rhythm can be hidden in a set of teeth.
"A Biting Beat" – guaranteed to have a bite.
