BROKEN, BUT SOCIABLE
The song for Janos Keller's novel
Description
One last evening. One last drink. And a place that was more home to some people than their own houses.
"Broken, but sociable" tells the story of people whose lives haven't always gone to plan. They have loved, lost, made wrong decisions, and hit rock bottom more than once. But at the "Schwarzes Glas," they had something that was often missing outside: a place where no one had to be perfect.
Now the pub is closing. They gather one last time. Between dark humor, old stories, rough voices, and unspoken truths, the last round becomes a farewell to a piece of their lives.
Musically, "Broken, but sociable" combines powerful rock with a rough male voice and a grand, anthemic chorus. Behind all the harshness, there remains a surprisingly warm message:
You can lose a place – but not necessarily the people you found there.
The song was created as a musical accompaniment to Janos Keller's upcoming novel "Broken, but sociable – Stories from the last round – between madness and warmth," which will be published by Jede Seite ein Abenteuer.
