Paula marks the beginning of a new children's book series full of heart, imagination, and small wonders.
At its center is the curious Paula. She loves to discover the world, asks countless questions, and repeatedly finds herself in situations bigger than herself. She is particularly fascinated by a pair of shoes that are much too big, into which she slips one day. What for other children would be just a game seems to be something special for Paula.
Soon, things happen that she cannot explain. She hears strange noises, discovers mysterious clues, and senses that there is more hidden in her world than other people can see.
But Paula doesn't know why yet.
Volume 1 kicks off a major children's book series that will accompany its readers for many years.
The series is structured into several developmental stages:

* Paula – The Discovery of Her Special Abilities
* Paula – The Story of the Tooth Fairy
Each volume tells a self-contained story and is simultaneously part of a larger narrative arc.
