When the forest holds its breath – an acoustic nature story
All is still peaceful.
Leaves rustle gently in the wind, birds can be heard among the trees, and the forest seems to have a rhythm all its own.
But then something changes.
The wind picks up. Branches begin to creak. The animals grow restless. In the distance, the first thunder rolls across the sky.
"When the forest holds its breath" tells, without words, of the approach of a mighty thunderstorm. Wind sweeps through the treetops, rain lashes down on leaves and the forest floor, thunder draws closer, and for a moment, nature seems to unleash its full power.
Then the storm moves on.
The thunder fades. The wind dies down. Raindrops fall from the leaves – and slowly the forest returns to its calm.
No classic story. No singing. No spoken words.
Just nature, sound, and the images that form in your mind.
Best enjoyed with headphones, eyes closed – and for a few minutes, standing right in the middle of the forest.
